There are two main varieties of coffee - Arabica and Robusta. Our TASSIMO coffees have unique blended recipes of both Arabica and Robusta coffee beans.
The different origins of the coffee beans result in characteristic flavours, body, aroma and acidity. These characteristic flavours arise from the various origins, growing locations, climates and processing methods of the beans.
Because coffee is a natural product, the quality of the harvests can differ - that is why our coffee experts assess the coffee beans to maintain the consistency and quality you deserve.
At TASSIMO we blend different beans from around the world to create our coffee recipes. This enables us to create the wide range of aromas and flavours you have come to love in our range of coffee products.
Roasting is key to the development of the colour, aroma and flavour of the coffee beans. Experts create roasting recipes to create the desired flavour in your favourite TASSIMO coffee pods.
Grinding is also an important step to the final flavour of your cup of TASSIMO coffee. For our TASSIMO products we grind our beans to a specific size to ensure great flavour through your TASSIMO machine.
