TASSIMO FINESSE INSTRUCTIONS

When your TASSIMO FINESSE 'calc' display lights up red, you should descale your coffee machine. Watch the descaling instruction video or follow the steps below.

1. When the red light turns on the machine needs to be descaled. For this you need 2 TASSIMO descaling tablets, a glass that will hold at least 17 fl. oz. (500 ml), and a soft cloth.

2. Remove the water tank from the side of your TASSIMO Finesse and fill it up to the marking “calc”. Add two descaling tablets and wait until they are fully dissolved. Insert the water tank back into the machine.

3. Remove the Service T DISC from the side and insert it with the barcode facing down in the coffee machine where you would normally place a T DISC. Remove the cup stand and place a glass (that will hold at least 17 fl. oz.) on the tray. Press the Start/Stop button for 5 seconds.

4. Once started, the descaling program will last for about 30 minutes and the status light will flash. Once the process is finished, the status display will light up. Now, empty the glass.

1. Next you need to clean the machine and so will need a soft cloth. Remove the water tank, clean it, and fill it with water up to the “max” mark. Insert the water tank back into the machine. Place a glass that will hold at least 17 fl. oz. on the tray and begin the cleaning process by pushing the Start/Stop button. The cleaning process is finished when the status display lights up yellow and remains lit. Empty the glass and repeat the cleaning process two more times. Then wipe all parts with a soft cloth.

2. Remove the service T DISC and stow it away in the machine since it will be needed throughout the life of your machine. Fill up the water tank and insert it back into the machine. Place the cup stand back. Your TASSIMO FINESSE is now ready for use.

1. To clean your TASSIMO FINESSE you need a glass that holds 9 fl. oz.(250 ml) of water and a soft cloth.

2. Unplug the machine and remove the cup stand. Rinse the cup stand under running water or in a dishwasher. Once clean, place the cup stand back. Remove the T DISC holder and the spout, disassemble the spout and clean the holder and spout in the dishwasher or under running water.

3. Thoroughly clean the brewing unit and the barcode scanner window with a soft cloth. Reassemble the coffee spout and insert the spout so that it clicks into place before inserting the T DISC holder. Now plug in the machine.

4. Now it’s time to clean the brewer. Remove the water tank and clean it, after that fill it with water up to the “max” mark and insert it back into the machine. Remove the service T DISC from the side of the machine and insert it where you would normally place the T DISC. Place the glass on the cup stand and begin the cleaning process by pushing the Start/Stop button. The cleaning process is finished when the status display lights up yellow and remains lit. Empty the glass and repeat the cleaning process two more times. Remove the service T DISC and stow it away in the machine since it will be needed throughout the life of your machine.

5. Fill up the water tank and insert it back into the machine, your TASSIMO FINESSE is now ready for use!

Your smart TASSIMO FINESSE will recognize the barcode and prepare your coffee, tea, or hot chocolate perfectly.
